After a journey spanning nearly 20 years of local competitions, a unique collection of story and poetry has been selected and will be launched at a special event at The CAN, Napier.

Professionally edited, a copy of this publication is included in the ticket price of $25.00

We invite you to come along, to celebrate with us and enjoy refreshments.
Writing is a lonely journey and when we established HB Shorts, we wanted to encourage our local authors to commit to completing a story or poem, to having their work appraised by professional eyes, to hear that feedback and become better authors for that.

That's happened...
Many of the participants have gone on to win National Competitions and become professionally published by all of the major publishing houses.
