Enjoy a family day out in Highwic’s beautiful garden where we will be combining floral themes with all the fun of the festive season:
Musical entertainment, including Cathie Harrop and Harp Companions, carol singers and popular local band Cajynx; Café; Floral headdress workshop; Books, Preserves and Plant Stalls; Tours of our award winning historic garden; Mince-Pie off competition. For those wishing to demonstrate their baking abilities you are invited to bring along samples of your best homemade mince pies and be a part of the inaugural ‘Mince Pie-Off.’
Raffle with exciting prizes; Children’s Activities including writing a letter to Santa, Christmas decoration workshop and free lucky dip for every child!
Disabled parking available on site; plenty of parking available in Wilson or Westfield buildings nearby. The Mortimer Pass entrance is a 5 minute walk from Newmarket rail station. Buses stop in Broadway and there is a bus stop directly outside the Gillies Avenue entrance!
