This holiday art workshop will run 10 AM - 4 PM on Thursday 18 April 2019.
Learn to draw simple Chinese-style pen and ink landscapes and make your own cards.
Join Wei Lun Ha, acclaimed NZ artist and tutor, and learn to create Chinese-style pen and ink landscape drawings. You'll use your work to create decorative cards (Christmas, birthday cards etc).
What to bring: Your lunch and drink bottle. All materials are provided.
About Wei: Tradition meets contemporary for this NZ Chinese calligraphy artist whose works are very Zen-like yet carry an abstract element. With a Masters in Architecture from the University Of Auckland and the founder of Blackbeat Designs Inc. Wei Lun paints using a calligraphy brush and aspires to become an international artist that can represent New Zealand’s eco-friendly ideas to the world.
