Holiday Workshop: Hand Puppets

The great unsolved mystery of the “odd sock’ is one that perpetuates almost every household – particularly as the weather turns to cool.

Collect those odd socks – holes and all, the crazier the better and let the kids create something wonderful in our Trashy Hand Puppet workshop with Christine from Hands Alive Puppet theatre. Kids create their own puppet character or pet and then enjoy making their own character come alive using the techniques of puppetry ‘movement is the key’! Christine also encourages creating the ‘story’ of their newly made friends and shows how easy puppets are to make. Anyone can be a puppeteer!

Suitable for ages 6 – 12 years.
