Holt + Brandt, Merry & Delany

Come and view ceramics, illustrations, collage and paintings by this group of talented Nelson artists. Sophie Holt, and her mother Lot Brandt, have collaborated on a series of clay sculptures. The work has a strong folk art aesthetic, making a bold statement with colour and design.

Georgie Merry communicates her feelings and beliefs through her art "it allows me to put things out into the world gently. The works are conversations with myself and reflections of what I see. A commentary on identity, politics and life in a world where we are constantly reminded that the end is nigh".

Finn Delany fits in his creativity alongside a demanding career with the Junior All Blacks. The work on show is one of a series of paintings reflecting on mental health issues and young people.
