Our Intermediate Snorkel Lessons & Tours are designed for the more confident snorkelers who have already mastered the basics. Our team know all the best snorkel spots hidden away in our region’s acclaimed Marine Reserves (Goat Island & Tawharanui) and are eager to take you on an unforgettable snorkel adventure.
Join your experienced Marine Biologist guide and explore:
- Seaweed tunnels
- Overhangs and pinnacles
- Crayfish and octopus hideaways
- New Zealand’s incredible sponge and anemones gardens.
Snorkeling as the sun sets is truly beautiful, this underwater light show is made even more exciting by the changing behaviours of the local marine life.
What’s included:
Allow 2 hours for your sunset snorkel. Sessions are run at a relaxed pace; with a maximum of 4 snorkelers to 1 instructor.
All the equipment you need for your lesson is provided:
- Mask, snorkel and fins
- Full length wetsuit
- Photos / videos from your snorkel lesson
- Homemade beach side treats, water and herbal teas
