An enchanting evening of different musics that work remarkably well together because of the instruments they have in common: Celtic folk music on the one hand, and music from sixteenth- and seventeenth-century Europe on the other. The concert will feature arrangements of modern and traditional tunes, from poignant airs to lively jigs and reels from Ireland, Scotland and other parts of the modern Celtic tradition, to beautiful arrangements of Renaissance tunes and early Baroque music. This will be a memorable evening that will be more than just a concert: a great atmosphere, good drinks, and good company for all!
