What it takes to set up, maintain + advance a profitable market garden. Nestled in a valley our picturesque farm has become an international beacon for modeling the alliance between sustainable, traditional growing principles and modern innovations.
As a thriving bio-intensive market garden and restoration grazing farm, we focus on growing + locally direct marketing our own produce and regenerating pasture diversity with stock management.
We teach these principles through highly interactive on-farm activities based around our agrarian & market garden production cycles.
Over the two days of this workshop, Jodi Roebuck will share with you all that has been involved in establishing his market garden. The practical will cover all the initial building blocks for developing a site including aspect, planning + design, right through to implementation including bed preparation options, innovative hand-held tools, crop choices, propagation, harvesting and beyond.
