Petone's Alfred Memelink Artspace Gallery is proud to welcome back one of New Zealands favourite and Internationally acclaimed watercolour artist's, Jacky Pearson, for another solo exhibition.
Jacky is fascinated by light and atmosphere which is one of the major driving forces behind her paintings and although she has recently moved to the Wairarapa, she still loves painting our local scenery.
Jackie's inspiring atmospheric paintings of the Wellington city and local region magically draw the viewer into each painting and allows them to linger a while to re live and experience everyday scenes we know and love so well. Jacky is also an accomplished portrait artist, a selection of which will also be on view in this exhibition.
Jacky is a multi award winning professional artist, not only widely popular at home in New Zealand but she is also an internationally recognised artist and tutor and her works are held in private and public collections both here and overseas.
