Japan has a rich literary history of which folk tale and poetry are important parts. Like the treasured Aesop’s tales and fairytales of Europe, Japanese Folk tales have been told to generations of children and still capture the imagination today.

Experience some of this incredible tradition while practising calligraphy with a brush and copying or writing your own haiku and tanka. Please bring an extra $5 for materials.

Kazuko is an accomplished Japanese musician and teaches many aspects of Japanese culture.
