Japanese Tea Ceremony

Experience the meditative experience of an authentic Omote-Senke style Tea Ceremony at the Hutt Minoh House Friendship Trust House in Lower Hutt on Saturday, 18th May—all for free!

Take part in the traditional Japanese customs of being prepared and served Matcha, a strong Japanese green tea lauded for its health, right here in New Zealand! We can't wait to see you there!

Please note:
- Up to 20 participants per session can be seated on tatami mats to experience tea tasting
- For others, the club will attempt to serve tea to as many as possible
- All sessions are first come, first serve, though if a session is full, you may still observe
- There will be no parking at the venue but there is plenty of street parking around the venue
