Jazz and Blues

Two shows in one, plus a piano interlude. Take Three, with Debbie James, guitarist Paul Goodhead and pianist Gilbert Haisman, perform new settings of songs by Cole Porter, Lennon and McCartney, Fats Waller and others.

Paekakariki blues singer and guitarist Al Witham will present original songs and re-worked classic numbers. Gilbert Haisman will present Keys to the Byways, a suite of six short piano pieces drawing on several European and American folk traditions.
