John Boyne’s latest book, 'A Ladder to the Sky', is "an ingeniously conceived novel that confirms Boyne as one of the most assured writers of his generation.” - The Guardian.

The author of 'The Boy in the Striped Pajamas', 'The Heart’s Invisible Furies', and the just-released YA novel 'My Brother’s Name is Jessica', is one of Ireland’s greatest writers. In this special event he speaks with writer, Sarah Laing, about creating an ‘unforgettable protagonist’ who is described as ‘dangerous and irresistible in equal measure’ and other literary secrets.

Presented in association with Dunedin Writers Festival with the support of Culture Ireland.
