Scene setter and ambiance arbiter par excellence, DJ Josh on Decks brings a broad and tasty palate of sounds, grooves, beats and tunes. His forté lies in Northern soul, jazz, bossa, funk and ’50s and ’60s R&B - and he also takes delight in dropping ’20s and ’30s swing, ’40s bop, ’50s rock ’n’ roll, ’60s nuggets and psychedelia, ’70s glam, punk, funk, fusion, Afrobeat and disco, ’80s pop and electro, ’90s and 2000s indie-based rock and block rockin’ beats – not to mention his penchant for ’60s and ’70s ska, dub and reggae as well as old-school hip hop from the ’70s-’90s.
