Judy Woodhead - Recent Work In Watercolour

Judy Woodhead started painting about 20 years ago at Keirunga Gardens in Havelock North. She had a lot of help at the beginning and attended courses with Frank Bacon. She also joined Saint Matthews Art Group.

Judy found watercolour was what she enjoyed most as the water and colours flow. Her art is for pleasure and she finds painting very relaxing.

The subjects she enjoys painting are mainly from nature, especially flowers. Judy has also enjoyed making cards from her paintings. She has been a member of the Hastings art group for a while, and in particular enjoys the Saturday workshops.

Judy looks forward to painting more through artist’s eyes. Look out for Judy’s work on display in the CAN foyer for the month of April.
