Kōhatu Dance Company: Kurutao is a story being told by using multiple dance genres such as Maori Movement, Contemporary Dance and Hip Hop to capture the story of not only the dancers individually, but as Kōhatu being a collective. Mimicking and portraying the different stories that come together using three minds instead of one, creating raw and outspoken movements to depict the meaning of 'What Was' with 'What Is'.
