Karma Keg - Jamboree Fundraiser for Maungaraki Scouts

Maungaraki Richmond Scouts are raising funds to send 23 Scouts to the NZ Scout Jamboree in December. On Saturday May 25 the Scouts are holding a Karma Keg fundraiser.

At the Karma Keg, a 50L keg of craft beer generously donated by Baylands Brewery will be tapped at 3 pm. Patrons are invited to pay what they think is "karmically fair" for a pint -- hopefully at least $10, but a generous contribution to the Scouts will come around with good karma for the donor. At 5pm, all the proceeds from the beer sales will be given to the Scouts toward their Jamboree registration fees.

Please spread the word, tell all your friends, family and work mates, and come to the Queen of Jackson on Saturday 25 May between 3-5 pm to enjoy a great craft beer and donate to a worthy cause. Start your evening with good karma – raise a glass to support the Scouts then enjoy the rest of the night knowing you are in harmony with the universe. Queen of Jackson is a family restaurant; children are welcome to attend.
