"The world gave us rules and we forgot how to play."

Winners of Best Circus at the Auckland Fringe Festival 2018, Kridati is excited to open their NZ and Australia tour in Wellington.

What happened to our fearless imagination and when did our inner critics become so noisy?
A circus inspired eulogy to the forgotten pillow forts of youth, Kridati sidesteps the boundaries of our regulated world and invites you to rediscover a childhood peppered with possibility.

Kridati brings acrobatic excellence and poignant live projection to unpack questions like, when does creativity turn from self help to self harm? Equal parts heart-wrenching and warming, it's a reminder to always find your joy.

Kiss fear on the forehead and dance with your doubts. This tantalising tonic might just be the cure... Drink up!

“So simple yet so complete, I loved seeing theatre and circus in such a well thought out package.”

“Fantastic show! I’m deaf and it would be good to have a special night for deaf people to come to.”

“Absolutely amazing!”

About us
Manubrium Circus Theatre are a New Zealand based circus theatre group founded by Kiwi/American duo Ariel Kanuka and Jay Clement. Manubrium is committed to acrobatic excellence and telling honest human stories.

In all that they do, the team are specifically focused on providing a platform for queer voices and people living with mental illness. Manubrium is founded on a kaupapa (ethos) of interdisciplinary sharing across all areas of creative arts, to foster true collaboration in this sphere. With a goal to ensure that all work is kept accessible, we offer accessible pricing and different ability tours where possible.
