At the end of 2018 Selina was a wife and hardworking mum of two small boys, until she was admitted to hospital with suspected appendicitis. During the 5 1/2 hour operation, devastatingly, surgeons found a large foreign mass which had spread.
The mass has been diagnosed as Stage 4 Colon Cancer. It is aggressive, inoperable and terminal. The only option now to help extend her life is chemotherapy combined with the very expensive and unfunded drug, Avastin.
Every dollar from ticket sales to this event will be given to Selina to fund this treatment, which is expected to cost in excess of $20,000.
