Are you a Dunedin local or a Dunedin student? Fancy a wild visit to see giant chicks?

We’re inviting you to take a $25 tour including transport to meet the giant Albatross chicks as part of our Local’s Sunday events!

See what visitors rave about and grab the chance to visit the world’s only mainland Royal Albatross breeding colony. 3 of the 29 chicks are on view from our observatory, with the chance of sightings of the other 20+ species that breed here. Taiaroa Head/Pukekura is the jewel of the Wildlife Capital of NZ!

We are offering; a 10.30am pick-up, transport along the Otago Peninsula, a 30 min guided tour including a short video and 20min viewing from our observatory to see the 3 albatross chicks, sometime in the centre at your own leisure before we drop you back into Dunedin about 2pm. A wonderful opportunity to explore your own backyard at an amazing price – don’t be the one to miss out!

As part of our Local’s Sunday the on-site café is offering a Sunday roast at a great price and our gift shop is offering 25% off too!
