LWMCU Memorial Drive Clean Up

Fresh from winning the Community Group Award 2019 at the Beautiful Awards the F.O.R.C.E. team is straight back into organising their award winning events.

On Saturday 16th November the Love Whangārei Monthly Clean Up will take place on the slopes of Parihaka cleaning up Memorial Drive from 10am until Noon. Meeting on the grass area at the bottom of Memorial Drive with parking at the skate park.

Having removed over 1 tonne of waste from the top of the mountain the team have decided to clean up the bottom as well.

For Our Real Clean Environment will provide gloves, hi-vis, water, lollies, buckets for picking up the rubbish and lots of encouragement.

Participants will be rewarded with giveaways and the feeling of pride in making a positive impact in their community.
