Lyrical dance is characterized by grace and fluidity that embodies various aspects of ballet, jazz, modern dance and acrobatics. Lyrical choreography uses fluent motion and allows the dance to interrupt and express the songs emotion through the dancer’s movements.
Jodi Russel specializes Lyrical and Jazz at Empire Studios. Jodi is an incredibly patient teacher and will communicates concepts and choreography over and over in multiple ways until everyone understands. It is important for Jodi to reach every student because she feels every dance student deserves her time and motivation. Jodi's strength as a teacher is creating highly skilful and technical routines that tell a story to her students.
