Practical 3-hour workshop

You know you need to be communicating with your clients and followers, but you’re not quite sure of the best way to do it. Now is your chance to equip yourself with the knowledge to send beautiful newsletters and effectively communicate with your tribe.
MailChimp helps millions of customers - from e-commerce shops to online retailers and service providers - find their audience, engage their customers, and build their brand.
Whether you need to sell your products, share some big news, or tell a story, their campaign builder makes it easy to create email campaigns that best suit your message. You will have a Mailchimp account already, but you haven’t sent m(any) campaigns yet.

In this workshop you will learn:

- How to set up a template with your branding - your logo, your colours
- How to use the easy campaign builder to create engaging and well-designed email newsletters and how to insert photos and format everything
- How to use lists to manage contacts (and add contacts)
- How to set up signup forms and use them in social media
- How to access and read your MailChimp reports to see how well you are connecting with your audience (and how to improve your open rates)

At the end of this workshop you will be comfortable moving around Mailchimp and creating your own campaign.

You will receive a handout that covers all the important points

Not a requirement, but you are encouraged to bring your laptop to practice what you learn.

Numbers are limited to a small group of participants.
Optional add-on: one on one follow up assistance after the workshop.

“I learned everything I needed to know and more. I came in not knowing much about MailChimp but can confidently say I will be able to send out our panui via MailChimp. Very informative. Sigrun thank you for your time .”
Jodie Palatchie, Communications Manager, Te Runanga a Rangitane o Wairau Trust

“I now have a much better understanding of how MailChimp works. Understanding reporting was very useful for me. After the workshop, I added new people to the list which I didn’t know how to do before and checked our open rates. I thought Sigrun managed all ability levels really well and accommodated the requests of everyone. The handouts were very helpful too. I would recommend the workshop to anyone who wants to use MailChimp in their business.”
