The Manawa Ora season commences and will showcase at Basement Theatre for 2019. Manawa Ora is in its seventh consecutive year and showcases a creative ensemble of movement, music and monologue devised by young people alongside their creative artists over a 5-day series of workshops.
Our team of creative youth development practitioners and director will bring together the works of over 25 rangatahi to craft a transformative audience experience like no other.
The Navigators theme represents the exploration for our young people of wayfinding, guidance and assessing life through self,whanau and peers. Building on their deep connections and reflections that offer them pathways for the future.Pathways that are forged through intentional reflection, korero and influencers that bring about change.
This is their journey and their voices, to tell their story.
