Who are the Manawatunes?
Formed in 1996, we are a chorus of men who love singing. We sing acapella (unaccompanied) harmony and are the current New Zealand Champion Small Chorus, a title we also achieved in 2018, 2014, 2010 and 1999 with Barbershop Harmony New Zealand. We have a number of active quartets, three of which have successfully competed in the Nationals.
Both the chorus and the quartets perform in our annual concert as well as Singouts in the community at Resthomes, weddings, funerals and other private functions.
We look forward to new members joining us.
