March Poetry

We start with Open Mic from 4pm - poets and musicians welcome.

From 5pm we present our guest artists. Guest Musician: Jessie Moss, a primary school teacher, writer and Te Reo Māori enthusiast as well as musician who weaves beautiful music of and for the world around her.

Guest Spoken Word Artists: Emily Writes, author of bestselling book Rants in the Dark: From One Tired Mama To Another, which has been adapted into a play and recently spent four weeks at Circa Theatre, and Nadine Anne Hura, poet & essayist of Ngāti Hine, Ngāpuhi and Pākehā whakapapa, whose writing explores themes of language, identity and belonging.
