The Maritime Archaeological Association of NZ (MAANZ) runs a volunteer-run conservation laboratory in the hold of the floating crane Hikitia, where they conserve objects that have been recovered from the sea. Come and see MAANZ’s work and learn some of the fascinating stories of the things that have been recovered.
