Help us plant 400 native coastal trees along the Matata Dunes. This event will help to restore the dunes along the eastern section of the lagoon. This will add to previous restoration efforts and will provide habitat for threaten bird species, such as the matātā - fernbird and the Australasian Bittern, and support the longevity of the dunes.

Please bring: covered shoes, water and some good yarns.
Event will be postponed to the 18th of September if torrential rain occurs.

For interested groups larger than 10, please let the team know at: chouston@doc.govt.nz
