Who are you going to vote for in the Capital and Coast District Health Board/Ūpoko Ki Te Uru Hauora election in October? Nau mai, haere mai, whakatau mai kia tūtaki ai koe ki ngā kaitono pōti! Come along and meet the candidates!
The Public Health Association (Wellington Branch) and UCAN (United Community Action Network Aotearoa NZ) are co-hosting this event to raise awareness about the DHB elections and profile the kaitono pōti/candidates. It's a great opportunity for kaipōti/voters to find out what the CCDHB candidates stand for and to ask pātai/questions. Please save the date, prepare your pātai/questions and bring your friends.
Doors open from 5:30pm for a 6:00pm start and light refreshments will be provided. Entry by koha.
The MC for the event is Professor Philippa Howden-Chapman from the Department of Public Health, University of Otago, Wellington.
The Public Health Association will also be launching our scorecard at the event. The scorecard assesses CCDHB candidates' experience and alignment with Public Health Association policies and values. Scores will be based on a survey we've sent to candidates and the full survey results will be available on http://www.pha.org.nz.
