Nearly half the population will meet the criteria for a mental illness diagnosis at some point in their life. One in five will experience depression in a given year. That is you or someone in your family. At the very minimum mental illness impacts on a person’s ability to function in daily life, to engage fully in their relationships and reduce a person’s self worth. At the very worst mental illness has the potential to take lives and leave behind devastation.

Please join us for an informative evening to learn the skills and knowledge to support yourself or your loved ones through mental health challenges.

Topics covered include:
- Risk factors
- Early Warning Signs
- Strategies to self manage
- Supporting a loved one
- Where to get help
- Suicide prevention

Rachel Kincaid is a Mental Health Occupational Therapist. She has a vast amount of experience working in primary care, specialist community mental health services and privately. She has an honest, down to earth, practical approach.

Free admission for youth 12-18 years.
