Mike Booth Quintet

Mike, Pete, Mat, Dix and Steve is an opportune collaboration; a powerful & exciting group offering straight-ahead swing, Latin Jazz, soulful blues and beautiful ballads.

Mike Booth (Trumpet) is a familiar performer at our club with the Auckland Jazz Orchestra; Dixon Nacey (Guitar) is unquestionably Auckland’s finest guitarist. Mat Fieldes played at the club recently and is a sought-after bass player in New York. Club members will look forward to Pete France (Tenor Sax) who is a consummate jazz saxophonist. Rounding out the quintet is our in-demand drummer Steve Thomas.
