Morris Gleitzman - 2018/19 Australian Children's Laureate

Remarkables Primary School are thrilled to welcome bestselling children’s author & current Australian Children's Laureate Morris Gleitzman. His books explore serious and sometimes confronting subjects in humorous and unexpected ways. His titles include Two Weeks With The Queen, Grace, Doubting Thomas, Bumface, Give Peas A Chance, Extra Time, Loyal Creatures, Snot Chocolate and the Felix and Zelda series (Once, Then, Now, After, Soon and Maybe). Morris lives in Sydney and Brisbane, and his books are published in more than twenty countries.

We are proud to host Morris as part of his Central Otago Tour in conjunction with Dunedin Readers and Writers Festival; The Children's Bookshop Speakers Agency; Paper Plus Cromwell and The Highview Apartments, Queenstown.

Our event will begin at 4pm, with light snacks available from 3:30pm onwards. Morris will be available for signings afterwards and we are pleased to welcome Vicky and the team from Paper Plus, Cromwell who will have copies of Morris' book available for purchase.
