Movie On the Grass – She Shears

We are trying something new in Cornwall Park, we are putting on a free movie for all to come and enjoy! We will be screening the New Zealand made documentary 'She Shears' that had its world premiere at this year’s Auckland film festival.

'In the gruelling world of competitive sheep shearing there is no women's section. Women and men compete together. 'She Shears' is the story of passion, purpose and determination and five women for whom shearing is not just a job.'

Pack a picnic, blanket and invite along your friends and whānau for a night of celebrating and supporting strong New Zealand women.
