The 2019 Nelson Buskers Festival brings aerial acrobatics, archery contortionists, breakdancing and basketball freestyling, acrobatics, comedy and juggling to our vibrant city.

One of three locations, Buskers on the Church Steps presents street performers from Canada, Japan, Germany and New Zealand on the Saturday and Sunday evenings. Join us for some hilarious, weird, eye-opening, gravity-defying acts in the heart of the city. An irresistible summer-fun combination of extraordinary and family-friendly street performances, lots of refreshment from the local cafes and our beautiful central city.

The Atari Show by El Goma

Sara Twister - Contortionist and Acrobatic Archer.

The Silver Starlets - Canada
All-female aerial acrobatic show. Full of glam, glitz and glitter, the Starlets use a 6m-high free-standing trapeze rig for their stage. They twist, tumble, bend, climb and fall, captivating their audience with family-friendly charm, beautiful grace, and amazing strength. These girls don’t sweat...they sparkle!

Basketball Jones - New Zealand
