This is an event where no one misses out on the fun.
Iconic to Auckland’s holiday calendar, the New Year's Day Races offer a winning trifecta of high-class thoroughbred racing, free family entertainment & tradition.
We're bringing some free activities for the younger ones to enjoy between races and, what's more, if they're under 15 years of age they also get free general admission.
A petting zoo, pony rides and other activities will be on offer on the general admission lawn and will all be free for younger racegoers to enjoy.
You can bring your own picnic food, umbrella, deck chairs and more to help enjoy the day with too.
