New Zealand Animal Law Conference 2019

The New Zealand Animal Law Association (NZALA) and AUT present the New Zealand Animal Law Conference 2019: Creating a Better Legal System For Animals.

Topics covered at the conference will include New Zealand’s animal welfare enforcement regime and proposals for reform, and how animal activists can better affect positive change for animals.

Camille Labchuck will present the keynote address - “Giving a voice to animals in the legal system”. Camille is the Executive Director of Animal Justice, Canada’s leading animal rights charity and has appeared as an animal advocate in a number of high profile cases.

All interested lawyers and members of the public are invited to attend. The conference will be CPD compliant.
