The New Zealand National Poetry Slam Finals is back to Ōtautahi for the second year in a row.
Established in 2011, the NZ National Poetry Slam in an annual event where the nation's best poets will compete in a literary showdown unlike any other in Aotearoa.
Poets representing Christchurch, Auckland, Wellington, Hawkes Bay, & Dunedin will perform in a three-round poetry slam as selected members from the audience will judge to determine the winner. All poems are original works.
This event is for all ages.
The Poetry Slam is uncensored but Hate Speech is not tolerated.
Featuring a special performance from the 2018 National Slam Champion, Jordan Hamel!
