Newcomers Night is a drop-in class where we will present some basic Buddhist ideas applicable to life in the 21st Century as well as teach our two main meditation practices,
Meditation: Developing mindfulness; Mindfulness of Breathing.
Mindfulness has become an overused buzz word in popular psychology. But in it's original Buddhist context there is much more to mindfulness than being in the moment. It also includes understanding your purpose and basing it on an ethical framework.
