"Stone Aged Brains in Smart Phone Times: How to Survive & Thrive in the modern world" with Nigel Latta, ONZM, psychologist, author and host of the television show Beyond The Darklands, The Politically Incorrect Guide to Teenagers and The Politically Incorrect Parenting Show is a charity fundraiser for Digital Seniors whose volunteers provide free digital support for seniors in the Wairarapa.

There's no doubt the world is a way more complex place now than it was a few decades ago. We're using stone aged brains to navigate smartphone times and that's both miraculous and stressful. It's no surprise perhaps that so many people (young and old) talk about experiencing stress and anxiety. So how can we help both our kids, and ourselves to be happy in the brave new world we're living in now? Whether you're seventeen or seventy, this will be an evening of ideas, humour, and most of all practical strategies for surviving and thriving in modern times.

Tickets online from Eventfinda or cash/eftpos from Carterton Events Centre or iSites. $40 plus booking fee. Pre-show drinks and nibbles included. This will be a very popular event so book early to avoid missing out.
