In this hands-on outdoor workshop, wildlife photographer Bryce McQuillan will demonstrate the basics of macrophotography, lighting, depth of field, and how to get up close to your subject.

This workshop is suitable for participants with a dedicated macro lens only. All participants must also bring the following equipment: camera and spare batteries, macro lens or extension tube, head torch and handheld torch. Please wear closed-in footwear and warm clothing.

Optional equipment: tripod/monopod, speedlite, ring flash or twin flash.

Due to the weather-dependent nature of this workshop, attendees will be emailed the location (within Dunedin) by Thursday 14 February.
