NZ Mural Contest and Arts Festival

Katikati is excited to be hosting the 7th NZ Mural Contest and Arts Festival. With up to 20 different events and activities on every day over the Festival week there are plenty of reasons to be out and about in Katikati during the week.

Every day there are new and exciting art workshops for kids to be involved with. Exhibitions of floral art, embroidery, sculpture, photography. Giant community paintings, creative community butterfly projects. Monday afternoon sees the six artists start their murals and can be followed at The Arts Junction for their daily progress. Some activities have a small cost associated with them but most are free.
