The shortest, longest, and fastest event of the year returns for its 4th year!

The official NZ Wiener Derby returns to The Flying Moa for another morning of races, costumes and cuteness overload.

Registrations are open now for miniature and standard dachshunds and a race for wannabe wieners (other small breeds, or doxie mixes). Head to our website to register now!

Even if your four legged friend isn't racing, they can still enter the costume parade, and we are hoping to set a record for the largest group of dachshunds in NZ at one time, so be part of the history books!
