Learn how to storyboard your ideas and work collaboratively to create a story for the screen. Drawing on Māori myths and kaupapa this is will be a supportive and fun workshop to learn about the filmmaking process. Bring a mobile device/phone/iPad to film a 1-minute scene with your peers. Learn about film roles, camera shots and create a storyboard.

For tamariki/rangatahi 10-14-year-olds

Facilitator:
Kristyl Neho has spent the last 18 years training and working in the Arts. For over a decade she has been working as an Actress, Writer, Singer and Director. After graduating Toi Whakaari 11 years ago she started working with Tamariki and Youth to teach and guide them to share their stories and to have a voice. She has now worked with over a thousand Tamariki and Youth in Performing Arts and loves to see them grow in Confidence in sharing their stories through their love of creating theatre and film.
