Ordo Templi Orientis - Aleister Crowley and The New Aeon

Recently it was suggested to me I could contact Ordo Templi Orientis O.T.O and ask them if they would be interested in speaking to us at our next Monthly meeting Monday 21st of October.

Slightly to my surprise they said yes. So we now have Tim Paling a local member of Ordo Templi Orientis (Order of the Temple of the East) speaking to us. What will he be talking about, Aleister Crowley and the new Aeon. The new Aeon is our current Epoch. It is characterised by the current major advancements in the evolution of human consciousness. Since 1904 the effects of this major advancement in consciousness can be seen in the radical reshaping of science and spirituality and society. Aleister Crowley was recently voted in Britain as one of the most influential figures of the 20th century. Aleister Crowley believed himself to be a prophet.
