Outdoor Movie Month

Join us on Friday evenings for the whole month of November as we host outdoor movie month at Albert Square! This is completely free for the community, so grab a cushion or a picnic blanket and get friends and family together at Albert Square to watch a different family friendly movie every Friday in November.

You’ll be able to grab a bite to eat from the food trucks, or bring your own snacks, and settle in to watch a movie on our big screen. Please note that this is a smoke free, alcohol free event which is weather dependent.

All screenings will begin at 7.00pm so we invite you to arrive at 6.30pm to pick your spot and get settled in. Feel free to bring blankets, cushions and low deck chairs, but to avoid impeding the view of other movie goers we please ask that you do not bring full sized chairs to use.

7:00pm Friday 22 November - Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (the original 1971 version)
7:00pm Friday 29 November - The Grinch

Terms and Conditions
Management reserve the right to decline entry to any person deemed to be intimidating, offensive, intoxicated or disruptive. Parents are required to check ratings of movies to insure they are suitable for younger viewers. Movie watchers may bring their own food but must insure that they remove all rubbish brought by them. This is an alcohol free event.

Food and beverages can be purchased on site and bins provided. Public Toilets for this event are located at the City Mall by the clock tower, a short walk from the event site. Movies will not be held if raining. For the comfort of viewers the screening will be limited to a maximum number of people on a first in first served basis.
