Paint a 2D Masterpiece then Make a 3D Sculpture Version

How: Learn to paint Van Gogh’s sunflowers in the morning in 2D to learn about how he developed the composition. You will learn about the principles of art including: balance, overlap and depth and harmony – in colour & shape.

Then in the afternoon you will use your own 2D version of Van Gogh’s sunflower painting to make your own floral sculpture arrangement in a “vase” and box that suggests the background from your painting.
