So what are you going to be painting?
Wanaka's willow with wet feet is perhaps New Zealand's most photographed tree. The story is that it started out as a fence post about 80 years ago, and sprouted into a photogenically crooked tree that, depending on the lake level, can be walked out to or is surrounded by water.

With a backdrop of the mountains of Mt Aspiring National Park, and in the foreground the clear blue waters of the lake, it's an irresistible focal point for any snapper eager to capture some of that outstanding natural beauty.

What is Paintvine?
It’s a fun social painting class where our artists will run you through step-by-step instructions on how to create your very own masterpiece in a fun and relaxed bar in Takapuna. Perfect for dates, catching up with mates or for meeting new friends.

We provide all the materials you need (high-quality canvas, acrylic paint, brushes). All you need to bring is your creative spirit (or find some at the bottom of a glass). At the end of the night you will leave with your own painting ready to hang up on your wall.

What is included?
All you need to bring is yourself. We supply the paints, brushes, canvases, easels and more. Best of all we do all of the setup and cleaning up so you can focus on just having fun.

What drink is included with the ticket?
The ticket includes one complimentary house beer, house wine or non-alcoholic drink for those already creatively charged
