Paint and Wine Night - The Great Wave - Paintvine

The concept is simple - take a brush in one hand a drink in the other and let’s paint a masterpiece!

Join us for a creative night of drinking and painting in the heart of Auckland! No previous painting experience necessary! Get your creative juices flowing and your brush strokes going!

The need to know:
Time: 7pm to 9pm (Arrive for 6:45pm, painting starts at 7pm)
Drinks: Your first one is included in your ticket
Food: Want to enjoy dinner too? Spitting Feathers' dinner menu will be available throughout the event

What is Paintvine?
It’s a fun social painting class where our artists will run you through step-by-step instructions on how to create your very own masterpiece in a fun and relaxed bar in Auckland. Perfect for dates, catching up with mates or for meeting new friends.

We provide all the materials you need (high-quality canvas, acrylic paint, brushes). All you need to bring is your creative spirit (or find some at the bottom of a glass). At the end of the night you will leave with your own painting ready to hang up on your wall.

So what are you going to be painting?
The Wave off Great Kanagawa is a famous Japanese painting on woodblock painted way back in 1833 - the meaning behind the great painting is for that of the observer to take in. A wave of emotion overwhelming you, the price of Bitcoin growing so large that may crash down, it is what you make of it.

Fun fact: Apple used this painting as inspiration for the Water Wave emoji. Come join us and overcome yourself with a wave of #paintmotion

What is included?
All you need to bring is yourself. We supply the paints, brushes, canvases, easels and more. Best of all we do all of the setup and cleaning up so you can focus on just having fun.

What drink is included with the ticket?
The ticket includes one complimentary house beer, house wine or non-alcoholic drink for those already creatively charged.
