Join the Thunderpants team to Paint Your Pants Pink and support Pink Shirt Day Aotearoa. Using tie-dye, shibori, wood block and potato prints you can transform a pair of vanilla Thunderpants into a one-of-a-kind pink wonder. Make a pair as a gift for Mother's day, or come along and have fun making your own pair. Available in women's hipsters, originals and kids sizes.
$10 from each pair will be donated to Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand's Pink shirt day campaign. Plus they'll be auctioning two pairs of women's original Thundies created on the day on Trade Me. Auctions will end on Pink Shirt Day on Friday 17th May... watch this space!
If you would like to come along and create a pair on the day please click 'going' on their Facebook event or send them a message so they know roughly how many pairs to have made! Allow anywhere from half an hour (block prints) to an hour and half (dyeing) to create your masterpiece and bring along a paper bag (block prints) or container (dyeing) to take them home in!
