Pat Higgins is coming to play for us in November, come along and enjoy some fabulous Irish music played by a master musician.
Pat is an Irish musician who moved from Galway to Wellington last century, he plays Irish traditional music on whistle, wooden flute and steel string guitar. Pat has guested at music festivals, in New Zealand, Ireland and Australia.
He is a co-founder of Ceol Aneas, and has previously taught whistle at that event. Pat is sought after as an Irish traditional music teacher, and has given workshops at several music festivals.
Pat has performed on stage with the Chieftains and is delighted to be able to give something back to the music tradition and honour the people he has learnt from.
Doors open at 7.40pm for ticket sales, this is cash only as we have no eftpos facilities.
